Wall Mesh

Description

Wall mesh, also known as stucco mesh or plaster mesh, is a construction material used to reinforce and strengthen walls, particularly those made of concrete, brick, or block. It typically consists of galvanized steel wire mesh with a square or hexagonal grid pattern. Wall mesh is installed by embedding it into a layer of mortar or plaster applied to the surface of the wall. Once installed, the mesh helps to distribute forces evenly across the wall, preventing cracking and improving its structural integrity. It is commonly used in exterior wall applications, such as stucco or EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) installations, to provide additional support and stability. Additionally, wall mesh can also be used in interior wall applications for patching and repairing damaged areas.
