CUSTOMER RETURNS POLICY

Apple Tool & Gas is devoted to fair trading practices as well as the principles envisaged in the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 (‘CPA’) in all dealings with our consumers.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us, and we will either repair/replace it or credit your account, subject to the below terms. This Policy applies to products bought from Apple Tool and Gas.
Please note that Apple Tool and Gas may, from time to time and at its discretion, restrict the use of the credit in your account in respect of certain products.
This Policy forms part of the Apple Tool and Gas Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

Accepted Reasons for Returns:
Apple Tool & Gas will only accept your return in the following cases:
•    the product is returned in the same condition in which it was in when it was delivered to you, and it is in its original packaging;
•    the product is faulty and/or damaged, subject to Apple Tool & Gas and its suppliers having the right to first inspect the product and the product has been used in accordance with the manufacturer instructions;
•    the incorrect product was delivered to you; and/or
•    the order is incomplete, and you wish to return the order.

7 (Seven) Days Return Policy:
Rules applying to the 7 (seven) day Returns Policy are as follows:
•    All returns and refund requests must be submitted to Apple Tool & Gas within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery.
•    The goods must also be in their original packaging.
•    You will not be able to return the following goods during the 7 (seven) day returns period:
•    Special order goods (these are goods that we changed, amended, or procured for you specifically to meet your specific needs – in other words, customized goods and other goods that Apple Tool & Gas does not usually stock);
•    Goods that we no longer stock.

Courier:
Rules applying to the COURIER for Returns Policy are as follows:
•    Apple Tool & Gas will only collect the product from the same address to which it was delivered to.
•    Apple Tool & Gas and its delivery service provider of choice will contact you to arrange the collection of the product from the nominated address. You hereby consent to Builders providing your personal information to the delivery service provider of choice to give effect to your request. Alternatively, you can deliver the product to Apple Tool & Gas.
•    We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 15 days of the return.

PROOF OF PURCHASE:
If you wish to return goods to us for any reason, we may require that you provide us with the proof of purchase or your copy of the delivery order/note for us to determine and confirm:
•    That you bought the goods from us;
•    when the goods were bought by you.
REFUNDS:
Rules applying to REFUNDS for Returns Policy are as follows:
•    No cash refunds will be made in-store.
•    Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 15 days of the return.

Apple Tool & Gas will gladly process your return subject to these terms and conditions.
